Practices and Activities of Southwest Bible Chapel

The Christians who meet at Southwest Bible Chapel on the corner of Florida and South Ames are an independent church guided by elders and deacons. We desire to please the Lord by following the pattern of the churches described in the New Testament-neither omitting or adding any activity, doctrine or organizational structure. We acknowledge Christ as the Head of the Church in title and practice and gather to His Name alone.

Other services are: a Family Bible Hour for children and adults, a round-table Bible study on Sunday evening and prayer meetings for the sick and infirm, various missions and missionaries in foreign lands. See Sunday Services and News of SWBC pages.

Southwest Bible Chapel also operates a branch of Emmaus Bible Correspondence School. Courses are supplied and graded by an Associate Instructor in this fellowship. See the information on Emmaus Bible Courses page.

We support and recommend Camp Elim, a Christian Youth Camp near Woodland Park, Colorado, for a Christ-centered camping experience.
You can contact them at the address listed on the LINKS page.

An independent mission, Set Free Prison Ministries, also shares space at SWBC. This ministry sends out Bible Correspondence courses to prisoners in Colorado and nearby states. Over 2000 courses are graded each month. Their director may be contacted by e-mail at :
